"I dream of beads!" Since childhood, I have had
a fascination with beading and creating jewelry.
Since 1975, my career has been focused on illustration. The
past 20 of those years have been primarily spent on children's
illustration.
When I began freelancing out of my home studio in 1992, I
never dreamed that I would have a jewelry studio in addition
to my illustration studio!
Jewelry has become my passion and I find myself making time
for it even when I am under a deadline for my illustration
projects.
Designing and creating jewelry and other giftware has energized
me in a new and exciting way, which is why I am featured here
in the "giftware and jewelry" section of the Freelance
Artists Network website.
